Uzbekistan will participate in the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy, to be held on August 4-7, 2022, in Moscow, UzA reports .
The event, organized by the Roscongress Foundation in cooperation with the Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism) and EANE, will be held with the support of the Russian Geographical Society and the Association of Tour Operators of Russia.
In March 2022, an action plan was signed between Russia and Uzbekistan to jointly increase the tourist flow. In particular, it is planned to hold the Year of Tourism in Russia and Uzbekistan, the development of the Great Silk Road tourist destination, and the organization of many events.
Uzbekistan delegation consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, National PR Center, Uzbekistan Airways, Uzsharobsanoat JSC together with business entities and artisans in tourism will present two stands at once: a business stand and a stand dedicated to the tourism potential and culture of Uzbekistan.
The business stand will present new routes and tourist destinations of the country. The second stand will future artisans’ work, Uzbek national cuisine, various types of tourism.
The event will also include talks with representatives of state organizations of the Russian Federation, B2B meetings with Russian tourism industry companies, as well as, plenary discussions and conferences.
