Russia's Gazprombank expects an increase in state budget expenditures of Azerbaijan in fourth quarter of the year 2022, Trend reports via Deputy Head of Research at Russia's Gazprombank Gulnara Khaidarshina.
According to her, in the first half of the year state budget expenditures of Azerbaijan are, generally, much lower than in the fourth quarter of the year 2022.
"Gazprombank believes that expenditures, given the recent upward revision of budget parameters, will start to increase and reach a pick in the fourth quarter of this year," Khaidarshina forecasted.
Furthermore, Gazprombank presumes, that in the near future the pressure from import on the volume of currency sales at auctions in Azerbaijan will return.
The bank also waits for the moderate increase in the volume of currency sales by SOCAR (Azerbaijani State Oil Company) after the approval of additional expenses for the investment program and projects in Karabakh by the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis).
