As reported, Tajikistan's foreign trade turnover in seven months of 2022 increased by 16.5 percent compared to the same period of 2021 - up to $4.2 billion.
The main trading partners of Tajikistan during this period were Russia (22 percent in foreign trade), Kazakhstan (19 percent), and China (18 percent).
Tajikistan in seven months of this year imported goods worth almost $2.8 billion, which is an increase of 25.2 percent compared to the corresponding period last year.
During the reporting period, Tajikistan mainly imported from Russia (30.9 percent of total imports), China (18.8 percent), Kazakhstan (17.8 percent), and Uzbekistan (7.1 percent).
Meanwhile, Tajik exports from January through July 2022 amounted to about $1.4 billion, which is an increase of 1.9 percent compared to the same period of last year.
The main markets for Tajik products in this period were Kazakhstan (21.2 percent of total exports), China (18 percent), Türkiye (9.1 percent), and Uzbekistan (8.7 percent).
