The foreign trade turnover of Türkiye amounted to $47.7 billion in July 2022, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
According to the ministry, the country's exports in the reporting month increased by 13.4 percent (to $18.5 billion) compared to July 2021, while imports grew by 41.4 percent and made up $29.2 billion.
The foreign trade turnover of Türkiye equaled $350.8 billion from January through July 2022.
Turkish exports grew by 19.1 percent (to $144.3 billion) during the reporting period compared to the same period in 2021, the ministry said.
Meanwhile, according to the ministry, Turkish imports increased by 40.7 percent (up to $206.5 billion) compared to the first seven months of last year.
Turkish foreign trade turnover amounted to $496.7 billion in 2021.
Last year, Türkiye's exports increased by 32.8 percent compared to 2020, to $225.2 billion.
Meanwhile, the country's imports grew by 23.6 percent compared to 2020, to $271.4 billion.
In 2020, Türkiye's foreign trade turnover amounted to $388.8 billion.
