Kyrgyzstan sees increase in tax revenues for 8M2022

Kyrgyzstan recorded a considerable increase in tax revenues from January through August 2022, Trend reports referring to the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan.

The total amount of tax revenues to the state budget of Kyrgyzstan in eight months of this year reached 99.9 billion soms ($1.2 billion), which is an increase of 51.2 percent compared to the same period of 2021 (66.1 billion soms, or $819.4 million).

During the reporting period, the State Tax Service fulfilled the forecast for tax revenues by 101.5 percent.

"The amount transferred to the budget of Kyrgyzstan in excess of the forecast from January through August 2022 amounted to 1.4 billion soms ($17.9 million)," the message says.

Notably, the largest increase in tax revenues compared to the same period of 2021 is noted for income tax (62.2 percent), excise tax on goods produced and sold in Kyrgyzstan (49.8 percent) and a single tax - more than 5 times.
