The monetary base in Azerbaijan increased in 2022, Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) told Trend.
According to CBA, this figure amounted to 17.46 billion manat ($10.27 billion), which is higher by 477.3 million manat ($280.7 million) or 2.66 percent compared to 2021 (17.9 billion manat or $10.5 billion).
The monetary base includes cash, free and obligatory reserves of commercial banks that are in circulation.
