Iran’s non-oil exports via Kermanshah Province’s customs increase - IRICA

Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of the Kermanshah Province (western Iran), increased by 3 percent in value and 7 percent in volume, during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through January 20, 2023), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Customs Inspector of the Kermanshah Province Customs Office, Bakhtiar Rahmanipour said, Trend reports citing the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

Rahmanipour noted that in total, 5.68 million tons of goods worth $2.24 billion were exported through the customs of the province in 10 months.

"The main exported goods via province’s customs for the reporting period were fittings, ceramics, fruits and vegetables, construction materials, dairy products, rubber products and etc.," he said.

"In addition, 7,470 tons of goods worth $54.2 million were imported through the customs of the province in 10 months, which is an increase of 5 percent in value, while a decrease of 62 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year," the official added.

According to Rahmanipour, aluminum alloy, various equipment, compressors, etc. were the main imported goods via the customs of Kermanshah Province within 10 months.

In general, Iran exported more than 103 million tons of non-oil products worth $45.3 billion within the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through January 20, 2023). This is an increase of 2.9 percent in value and 17 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
