Uzbekneftegaz JSC plans to expand the use of the products of the Russian Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), Trend reports via the press service of the Uzbek company.
According to the press service, the chairman of the board of Uzbekneftegaz, Mehriddin Abdullayev, visited the production enterprises of TMK-Seversky and Chelyabinsk Pipe Plant as part of an official trip to Russia.
The visit to the production sites of the plants was organized as part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between TMK and Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
Uzbekneftegaz and TMK agreed in April on the supply of pipe products in Uzbekistan at a cost below world prices.
In April 2021, TMK, the Russian Export Center and Enter Engineering, one of the largest contractors in the oil and gas sector of Uzbekistan, signed an agreement on scientific, technical and investment cooperation to modernize the gas transmission system of Uzbekistan. The volume of investments within the framework of cooperation projects may exceed $180 million.
TMK is a global supplier of tubular products for the oil and gas sector. It unites enterprises located in Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania and the Czech Republic.
