Uzbekneftegaz, Afghan company agree on liquefied gas supply

Agreements were reached between Uzbekneftegaz and Asia UzAf Trading of Afghanistan for the supply of liquefied gas, and with Ebrahim Faqirzada Trade Company LTD for the supply of sulfur, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

It is reported that an exhibition of national products "Made in Uzbekistan", a Business Forum, as well as an Interregional and Intersectoral Industrial Fair, and a cooperation exchange are being held from May 24 to 26 this year in the city of Termez, Surkhandarya region, with the participation of Uzbek and Afghan businessmen.

The stand presents more than 50 samples of products produced at the enterprises of the system and offered for export, all information about the products is printed in English and Darius (Afghan) languages.

On the first day of the event, the guests were provided with information about investment projects implemented in the system of Uzbekneftegaz, export-oriented types of products, new localized types of products.

During the business forum, practical agreements were reached between Uzbekneftegaz and Asia UzAf Trading of Afghanistan for the supply of liquefied gas, and Ebrahim Faqirzada Trade Company LTD for the supply of sulfur.

Also, a preliminary agreement was reached with the Gold Water company on the organization of the export of polyethylene pipes and drip irrigation systems.

Afghan entrepreneurs expressed great interest in the products manufactured by the enterprises of the system. Prospects for the supply of polymer raw materials and products from it to Afghanistan were discussed with the companies Sadit Mustafo, Gold Water, Rosikh, Faxriyon, Gavhar and Yazd Tak.

During the days of the interregional and intersectoral industrial fair, and the cooperation exchange, 37 agreements were signed for a total of four billion soums ($376,985).
