Iran discloses volume of gasoline exports via Shahid Rajaee port

About 780,000 tons of gasoline were exported by 23 ships through the Shahid Rajaee port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) during the first two months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through May 21, 2021), Deputy Director of the Ports and Maritime Department of Hormozgan Province Mansour Khorramshokuh said, Trend reports citing Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

The deputy emphasized that gasoline was exported from three platforms of the Shahid Rajaee port. So, about 200,000 tons of gasoline was exported from the platform No. 4 by 6 ships, and 580,000 tons of gasoline from the platforms No. 1 and No. 2 by 17 ships.

Khorramshokuh added that given the increase in exports of oil products from the platforms, the allocation of a new platform for this purpose has been in the spotlight. In this regard, platform No. 4 has been allocated for the export of oil products.

As reported, about 268,000 TEU containers were loaded and unloaded in the Shahid Rajaee port in two months. This is an increase of 11 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, 244,000 TEU containers had been loaded and unloaded in the port in the same period last Iranian year.
