Overhaul and repair work began on the 21st unit for gas purification from sulfur compounds of the 14th workshop at the Mubarek gas processing plant managed by Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
According to Uzbekneftegaz JSC, all material and technical resources and additional parts are made ready for repair work on the installation. As a result of the repair, uninterrupted, stable operation of the unit in the autumn-winter period will be ensured to meet the established targets.
During the period of shutdown for repairs of the 21st unit of the 14th workshop for the purification of gas from sulfur compounds, the operating modes of the gas processing units of the Mubarek gas processing plant were optimized and the daily reduction in the total volume of gas transferred to the processing process by five million cubic meters was prevented.
At present, together with the Department of Hydrocarbon Production and a group of plant specialists, planned repairs of equipment are being carried out in order to organize stable production and ensure that production indicators are met.
The Mubarek gas processing plant is located on the territory of the Mubarek district of the Kashkadarya region and was commissioned in 1973. The 21st unit of the 14th workshop for cleaning gas from sulfur compounds was launched in 1996. This device is designed to remove sulfur and carbon dioxide from regeneration gases. It is designed to receive 2.0 billion cubic meters of high-sulfur-associated gas per year.
